A few words of sincerity.

Many people in life inspire us in one way or another. Although I speak with a biased tongue I must say Mecca inspires me in ways that words cannot express. She is a little girl of different abilities but I wouldn't trade her for all the world's riches. She has changed my life personally in ways I have never expressed so openly until now. I recall all those nights in the hospital with her praying, wishing and hoping that she would pull through. There was one night in particular I cried uncontrollably and I'm not ashamed to admit that as a man and certainly not as a father. It was that moment when I realized that I was tired of seeing her in that condition and I was on the verge of giving up. Well, she had something else in mind. She had the will and determination to fight and live. From that period of her struggle I learned that 'keeping the faith' is not just a slogan but they are words I would live by from that moment forward.

This gift from God has brought me and so many others joy unmatched my nothing else in life.

I write these words and keep the faith that one day in her life she will be able to read these words herself and fully understand that I can't imagine my life without her.
